Gumball 3000: Edinburgh

Through in Edinburgh to take photos of the gumballers. Last years event was an unorganised disaster so I'd hoped this years would be a little better seeing as they had moved it from the mound to regent street which would be closed off for the duration.

Sadly no!

Little information available again from the organisers.

Arrival delayed till 8pm-12.

Plenty of police but little barriers so most folk were surging onto the road when the cars arrived to try and take better pictures with their phone cameras in the dark.

Thankfully I had the foresight to book into the Apex and was able to stand outside and take photos then retire to the bar afterwards ;)
