Blue Lagoon

Loading this early this afternoon, as the big netball game is going to start shortly......a Ozzie NZ battle, or to be more precise Melbourne Vixens (Oz) and Waikato Magic (NZ).

We were off at 8.30 this morning and headed out to Rangitata River Mouth and Huts. A Focus field trip. Not the best of weather, DFO (dull, flat and orrible) but made the best of it. This is the Rangitata Lagoon, to the right just over the shingle bank is the Pacific Ocean.

After walking the beach we had lunch and a good catch up with members, then wandered around the batches. Some great old ones, very original and rustic. Not many people about (other than us) as its winter and not the fishing season. The summer months this place is "moving"

Thanks for all the attention over the last few days, I really appreciate it. You are a great bunch of blip friends Wouldn't it be awesome if sometime, somewhere there would be an opportunity to meet in person, but in the meantime we are enjoying a virtual friendship.
