Typical Coastal Weather

This is one of the entries to Clarkes beach this morning. Julian Rocks are in the distance. I quickly walked down to see what the beach looked like and as I set foot on the beach, the rain started falling.
That was really the beginning of the end of the sunshine for the day, as it rained on and off the rest of the day. Mom's friend C came to visit us from Brisbane where she is visiting from South Africa too. We took a drive up to the Cape Byron lighthouse and got thoroughly soaked walking to the easternmost point of Australia.
Then it was time for a hot drink and pizza for lunch and a walk up the main street.
Tonight I am really sore after yesterday's climbing walk through the forest. The joggers that were sailing past us up and down the forest steps have my complete admiration!
