Quack off

It was a moist and unpleasant start to the day, that was tolerated because we have the promise of FABULOUS weather ahead, six (possibly seven) days of sun & warmth, the menfolk will be so busy grilling!

I was heading home from the tip with the teen** in my car when we had to stop near a new house build, the builders had a huge (metre high, 1.5 metre wide) piece of concrete drainage pipe lying in the (single track) road, the digger driver decided to move the pipe, and dropped it, from our side it looked fine...then they lifted it properly (with hooks and clamps) and left a third of it behind...it did make us giggle (but quietly, because we didn't want to upset them even further.)

* for those of you with no German, the sign reads "private jetty, entrance forbidden".
** there are some jobs when brute force and ignorance are required.
