Greenfinch in the conservatory

Today I drove down south of Dorchester and had lunch with a friend from Lincolnshire who was housesitting for someone.  We had a good walk over the downs with the dog in the afternoon catching up and when we got back this little bird had flown in.  We  just opened the doors and it flew straight out.

We now have calves born in the field most days, fingers crossed the rest  will be as easy calving as the first few!
