Ahhh sunshine!

What a stunning vision as I strolled around Killingworth Lake this evening. The wind is giving it some and there's definitely still a distinct chill in the air, but brightness of the sun is very much welcome :-)

Today some of my Year 2 children did their first reading paper for their SATs. We've got the whole month of May to complete them within, so I'm doing it in small groups. The majority found the "extra special job" very exciting!!
