Chatsworth

Today was spent at Chatsworth - fantastic place! We arrived just as they were opening the gates to the house and gardens, and they pretty much closed them again behind us!

So much to see, so much history, beautiful and fascinating.

It's been on my 'must-visit' list for some time, and was well worth the wait.

I loved the detail in this lion statue.
