NZ Native parrot- a Kea.

This is a native NZ parrot- Kea. He is found readily in NZ's Alpine areas. I have spent time in Arthur's Pass today, and know where to find them!!!! They are very nosy, very cheeky, have attitude, but are very beautiful. I love the feather detail and when they fly- there is the most brilliant orange under their wings. This fellow was just sitting watching us and could have been taken with an ordinary lens, tho I did use my long lens. Enjoy.
