Breakdown

Up at 7 for another lesson driving with dad - all went well, and without incident. Came back home and had to snooze, I think the concentration coupled with early morning isn't a good mixture for my daytime energy levels!

After saying hi to Mum's friend Nicola, we went out again - I took the hill start from the house (a 20% gradient so no easy feat!) before Jesse took us out towards Bradford-On-Avon when he said the accelerator wasn't working. True enough, we pulled up at the side of the road, and we couldn't even start it. We went as far as to call the AA, then just as we were going to give up Dad noticed that some high-voltage cable had come unplugged - back up and running instantly. Just as well we didn't get breakdown on the go, would have been embarrassing to say the least to have them rock up, plug it in and charge however much for the privilege.

After that, we went over to say hello to Granny and Grandpa, before continuing on our way. Got back to Bath at 7ish.

Went to Pete's for steak (yeah boi!) before meeting up with Kate for a few drinks, then found Mark in a pub and joined them. Was nice to catch up, and always nice to have someone you know behind the bar to get served fast.
