Orchard planting

A n I spent the day clearing ground elder and nettles in order to plant our "orchard" which consists of 2 cherry trees, 4 apple and a greengage added to the 3 cordon trees we already have. A neighbour kindly told me that apparently cherries never grow in Scotland so I won't get any. Ah well, I'm always optimistic :-D This blip reflects the weather of the day very well :-D
