Hazel catkins
I had difficulty choosing which image to blip, so have gone for the last image I took today, of the lovely catkins on this hazel tree in my parent's garden. Apart from the many (very many!) fruit trees in their garden, I like taking photos here because of the background of the hills and fields - even if it is all blurry and you can't actually see it.
We had a nice walk in the bush, with the usual inspection of the rotting remains of ancient cars, bedsteads and other unidentifiable discarded items. The children examined an old mine shaft, with a torch - luckily it seemed to have been blocked off inside, or we may never have seen them again.
Had a surprise blip meet with MrRosewarne & MrsRosewarne on the way home!
