Fishy

These fish in a pond outside a restaurant that friends took us to reminded me of an old story about a man visiting an ancient Chinese temple. The pond was full of goldfish, and an old man asked the visitor for his wallet to show him a trick with the fish.  Reluctantly the man agreed, but was then astonished to see one of the fish take it from the old man's hand and pass it to the mouth of its neighbour.  One by one the fish passed it across the pond while the old man led to visitor to retrieve it at the other side.  Astonished, the visitor asked the old man how it was done.  The venerable Chinese gentlemen replied that it was an ancient and secret trick known only as carp to carp walleting.
