spiral staircase

went to a photo club meeting this evening which is held on the 2nd (and top) floor  of a rather unexciting looking building, 'the Maison des Jeunes et de la Culture'. It does however have a lovely spiral staircase which I couldn't resist photographing on my way out. The other photo club members were initially intrigued as to what I was doing but then one of them shouted down to the chap below to look up which helped the shot. Spent the day painting the bathroom so this was one of a handful of photos taken (the others being of a blurred bee on my lavender!, just like at home! )
