WINDOWS!

I had booked today off work as the window were being fitted on the back of the house.  I got to the house at 8.30 and Pat the roofer was there so we had a cuppa and a chat, and then the window fitters arrived.
They had not realised the state the house was in, so had only got half the windows with them (assuming they would have to spend a lot of the morning putting dust sheets down).  They said they would only be there a few hours but that they would be back tomorrow (not great as I'm back in work!).  They had their work cut out getting the old windows out but eventually they started to put the new windows into place.  
I'm really pleased with how they are looking, and once the back of the house is rendered its going to look so much better.  I had a bit of a clean up in the garage (temporary kitchen), and made a few phone calls (few tiny issues with the windows), before heading home to get changed as I had planned to pop and see Jo and Esther.  When I got there Si was home so we all decided to go to the park and to the pub (mainly the pub).
Was lovely to catch up with them and see the gorgeous Esther.
