Town Clock

For the first time since we moved here, the clock is not permanently stopped at 2:33. The old brick warehouses make a nice backdrop, and the Mexican restaurant across the street is in full swing getting ready for Cinco de Mayo.

I feel a bit hungover this morning with the news that Donald Trump is the 'presumptive' Republican nominee for president. All I can say about that is that the whole process goes on for far too long and costs so much money that it renders the American political process ridiculous meaningless pointless and no longer representative of the democratic process.
