Day 125 of 366 - The Parish Church in Knowle!
Today's image was taken this morning in the village of Knowle near to the town of Solihull. The view is of Knowle Parish Church. Parts of the Church date back over 600 years. However for nearly 400 years the Parish Church in Knowle was actually a smaller Daughter church to the Church in nearby Hampton in Arden. Due to the local river flooding on a regular basis Knowle Parish Church was saved from destruction during the time of the Dissolution of Monasteries by King Henry VIII at the request of the local villagers.
The photo was taken using the App ProCam on my iPhone 6.
First I used the app Snapseed to edit the picture. I cropped the image and straightened it a little. I then changed the perspective of the church. I then added the Tonal Contrast preset. I also boosted the saturation, contrast and vibrance of the sky. Next I used the app Wood Camera to add the Merida lens preset and the Aquatic 1 texture. I also used DistressedFX to add the Stirred overlay and the Vanilla texture. I finally used PhotoToaster to add the Contrast preset, a small dark vignette. I then added the Stone texture and the Leather frame.
