A shy girl

Minkelina has lived with me for almost 9 years, coming as a traumatized youngster from the Shelter. I never saw her for the first two weeks she was with me - she was that good at hiding!  Today she is still wary of other people, and I'm never allowed to pick her up and hold her.  But she is sweet and loving in her own way, and has decided that sleeping with me is a good thing.  I think so too.
