Nose to .....?
...well, I'm not sure as this big bundle had completely curled up in defensive mode.
The walk today was in complete contrast to yesterday with lots of breeze and no flies. It was delightful. I took a number of potential blips along the way and was on my hunkers taking a shot of two pretty, wild orchids when I heard a kerfuffle behind me. I called the dogs away but when Bruce couldn't resist going back for another look, I followed and you can see what the fuss was all about. Once I had taken the shot I called Bruce away and we walked on leaving the poor hedgehog to relax, unfurl and scamper safely on his way.
My blip in the bag, I continued on the walk for a further hour with the dogs having a wonderful scramble around and on my way back to the car I bumped into my friend with the new puppy, Brodie. He is almost the same height as Bruce now and beginning to enjoy walks out in the big wide world. I will blip him again another day.
Gardening now beckons. I am having some work done in the garden, hopefully starting next week, to help me to cut down on maintenance which I am struggling with. However I need to prepare the area first and today I have to trim a big leylandi hedge ...... as long as the rain keeps off.
