Thanks to everyone for all the kind comments and awards on yesterday's cloudy blip. I'm unable to respond to many comments at present, mostly due to attempting to be in three places at once over the course of several days, hence today's rather uninspired blip.

Last night I managed to get myself elected to the Committee of our local wildlife group, in spite of resisting for the last year. Citation for nomination: "You're keen."


Note to self:  Soddit.

Anyway, elections .... What's the point of a PCC who's toeing the party line? The only reason the job exists is independence.
