Leader's Supper

You'd think with us being at different camps I might be able to avoid Penni and Laura but no, they even came over to the Junior Camp looking to be snapped but we were in the middle of our evening meeting. Once we had put the campers to bed though, some of the junior camp leaders headed over to the main house to visit the senior camp team and sort out some music for the pieces we'd be playing together. Being a leader at camp is great: you get to stay up after the campers, get to lead activities and worship, even being able to just wander into the kitchen to make yourself a cup of tea whenever you like are some of the perks!

We have 22 talented campers and we've had a great time so far in music rehearsals and activities. It's a superhero theme this week so we've covered the place in comic book caption images - you know, BOOM! ZIP! ZAP!... and masks. Our concert will have a hero themed programme and we are looking more into the ultimate superhero, Jesus, in our group times and evening meetings.
