May the Fourth etc etc

Another jaunt for Olivia and I today.  This time 3 taxis, to the Butterfly Park (very humid and we fed the fish), to KL City Gallery for a look round and nasi lemak for lunch and then home. Home and to the pool in the afternoon.

It was Fang's 25th birthday so 7 and half of us (Auntie Shan having arrived back from Taiwan this morning) went out for a meal.  The first choice wasn't available so we went to Las Vacas.  The food took ages to come, the smoked salmon was very salty, the wine list had shrunk to 3 bottles, half of the soft drinks were unavailable, but this is Malaysia la!

Fang liked her chocolate and peanut butter birthday cake and Olivia seemed to like it too.

It was very hot and humid today so i was glad of a long swim in the pool when we got back.

J phoned.  After a few 'up' days at the Manor a 'down' day.  A referral is being made to Marie Curie and I had to phone the bank to make an appointment for Monday.  feels like the calm before the storm. 

The extra are Olivia being shy with the Nepalese guards and at the Butterfly Park.
