Near Caen

After a smooth two hours by train with great folks helping us along our way, a car rental, a hotel check in that went fine we took off towards the coast. Intention to get to DDay beaches

But it is a holy Day and that equals holiday. Instead we drove in traffic, walked a bit of a crowded beach, and found a tiny town with a church where William the conquerer had some role. Severely bad French utterly devastated understanding of what we encounter.
