Another cluster of flying birds....

As I arrived at the beach today there was a lot of commotion going on with the gulls at the edge of the beach with a whole group of the circling round. I captured them with a straightforward stills shot, using one of the tankers that are currently moored outside Belhaven Bay as a backdrop. In fact it would be difficult not to have had a ship of some sort in shot as there have been half a dozen hanging around in the Forth estuary for the past couple of weeks. I don't know what they are waiting for (maybe for the price of crude oil to rise ?) but they all moor around this part of the coast as they have to pay mooring fees if they move in closer to the port of Leith.
