Those where the days

When I was young I spent my summers at my grandfather’s home. The sun was always shining as I remember it. Those where the days!  He had a hammock between two trees. I spent a lot of time there reading comics.  Occasionally my mother came with soda and fresh buns.  Those where the days! 

In more recent times I’ve tried to persuade my wife it would be a good idea to reintroduce this nice way of living.  But I’ve been unsuccessful so far.  I don’t think it’s the cost.  Only £95 with a stand included at IKEA.
