Meet Boris

Today has been a very special day, a friend invited me to go with her to her friends Owl Sanctuary in Selsey called 'Owls About Town'.
They are doing fantastic work rescuing ill or unwanted owls, hawks etc. They even have a beautiful jet black Raven.
They are training the birds for different occasions and can be seen at many country shows. One beautiful white owl, I think it was a barn owl, flies down the aisle in a church and delivers the wedding rings to the best man.
As it is a Parliament of Owls, they have named all the birds after members of parliament.
Hence Boris (Johnson). Now he is most unusual, he is a cross between a Nightjar and a Cookaburra. I sat stroking his chest for ages and he nodded off to sleep.
