Ride

Woke up to a power cut this morning, it was kind of wonderful... all quiet and peaceful. Had to boil a saucepan of water for the morning cuppa. Like camping in my own house. Glorious.

Also the little'un's school had been given over to local election shenanigans, and thus we decided there was nothing to do except go on a bike ride. So the nipper and me... sorry... My daughter and I, picked up a couple of bikes passed on to us by her uncle (Thanks Rich!) and off we went in search of some woodland lanes for an adventure.

Great fun.

We did quite a few miles... although it's fair to say the little'un did a few miles more, because I kept getting her to go back so I could take pictures. Poor kid.
