Other stuff we did - went to GMRC (Glasgow Museums Resource Centre) for a medieval day involving having fingers bitten by owls and watching very enthusiastic young men reenacting sword fights. These guys were completely immersed in their art and I can only imagine what a nightmare it would be to watch Braveheart with them.
