Art

I was happy to be invited to join in the little art party today even though I've had to skip two sessions of classes! Great food, really fun company.

The installation hanging in the gallery is all by the same artist and so unique. She takes plastic pop bottles, cuts them up and softens them (presumably with a torch or oven-maybe a blow dryer??) then paints and assembles them like this. I loved them but began to call her the Warhol of pop art (ha! Literally!) because they were all the same theme. It truly did look great on the walls though. I'm looking forward to a new class starting mid June.
