Great Blue Heron

Happy Cinco de Mayo folks. 

Ian and I went down to see the Heron rookery today. Not much to see as the birds were nesting but had no chicks yet and the trees are very leafy. So we went to Marine Park instead and found a bunch of fishing herons just off shore. There was a school group exploring the area but the birds were not fazed. And the kids were focusing on other things. Afterwards we went down to Boulevard Park and took a walk. We saw a sea otter but it was very far out and almost invisible. I drove to my support group and Ian walked home from there. I put a couple of extra heron photos in extras.
