Mother's Forsythia

In contrast to many other plants (we won't have any crown imperials this year due to the late frost and snow) the forsythia is putting on a lovely show. We always call it Mother's Forsythia as it was given to us by my mother in law so it is pruned with extreme care as I would hate to lose it. It was photographed with a piece of blue card behind it for contrast and it is my contribution for FlowerFriday this week.
