Oh! Summer!

Oh Summer!
I Look to thy light
Basking
I gaze rapturously
At sun
filling my vision
Warmth
Filling my heart
My body
Uplifted with the currents
I rise
Unfettered by frozen chains
To sail
The cloudless, open sky
And drink
The coloured elixor of life
That is
The earth in floral abundance
Ears filled
With buzz of insect life
With song
Of birdlife newly hatched
From egg
Spring's bountious avian issue
And nose
Filled beyond point of overflow
With scent
A perfume of flora exuded
Wraith like
Surrounding and conquering senses
Oh! Summer!
