Mono workshop in the Lakes, Day Three

Yes, I know this is not mono and it's not a landscape, but you all know how much I love meeting and photographing people!

This morning we went for a short shoot starting at the Kettlewell carpark near Keswick. It was very overcast with no detail in the sky and a very limited tonal palate. Quite a challenge, let's say.

Then, along came a canoist in a yellow canoe, destroying the reflections. He is the canoeing photographer from the Peak Districk. He came close to the shore for a chat.

Most of today we have been back at the hotel and learning processing techniques to produce first rate mono images.
