Flower Friday

I have been inspired by the other lovely FF blips today to go in search of flowering things in the garden. There are quite a lot!

I'd thought that the clematis climber on the fence near my kitchen window was only in bud, but closer examination revealed some flowers.

Today I am very sad to hear of the death of a former pupil. I can remember her so clearly as she was always a real character and a challenge to teach - in a good way! She was such a super girl. My thoughts and prayers are with her parents and her husband today.
