Sunbathing

Mr and Mrs Collared Dove were sunbathing on the lawn this afternoon.  That's unusual.  They're nervous little birds and it doesn't take much to send them fluttering to safety.  Hopefully I can spend a bit of time in the garden myself over the weekend.  A week of standing by the roadside with all the traffic fumes and noise makes me glad I'm just a relief patroller.  I do enjoy it, but not every day thanks.
