First rose of the summer

At last!  I have been watching the tight buds unfurl by the backdoor and the  sudden warmth has given the petals a nudge!

Down town this morning changing my mobile.  It is so ancient and the service I was using is being phased out.  I only use it for urgent calls and emergencies.  The annoying thing is that the transferring of the number takes 48 hours - not that I'll need it but it is always nice to know its there!
