Lone Tree and Tower, Hilton Park

Another quick grab on the way for a morning swim.  This tree is always begging to be photographed, sitting as it does on the horizon as I drive home along the M54 most nights.  I rarely do, as getting off at the junction usually requires some time queuing and with very little opportunity to park.

For a change I drove along an adjoining road and was able to pull onto the verge before 6 am.  A quick grab of the camera and tripod, through a small belt of trees and on to the edge of the field..  No fireworks from the sunrise this morning, but high cloud still meant for some interest in the sky.
