Snail's pace

The foxes were playing hard to get and the birds disappeared every time I raised my camera - everything was going too fast for me to cope. Luckily I looked up and spotted this rather fetching snail on a branch about 10 feet above me. I wondered how long he'd been sitting in the tree waiting for those leaves to open.
