A grand day out
So I had my fabulous day out yesterday. Back blipping as I didn't get a chance yesterday.
Firstly an early start then off to Dolgellau for the Precipice Walk. A 3 mile circular walk with the most amazing views. On one side the Mawddach Estuary and all around you, views over Snowdonia. Just stunning, with weather to match.
Then off to Fairbourne and a long walk along the beach to as close as you can get to Barmouth without going in the sea.
Miles of gorgeous flat sandy beach with barely a soul around, which is surprising given the weather.
On the way back my feet were starting to ache a bit, so I decided a bit of sea water would do wonders, so I paddled! Once I worked through the pain of the icy cold water and the numbness set in, it was great as I couldn't feel my toes at all!
So a total of 8.5miles walked and my leg was absolutely fine, so hopefully will be ok from now onwards.
