When....

..... you look after your bestie's baby sister and have gone to bed before she comes to pick her up, your bestie insists on seeing you even though you're fast asleep. 

She really enjoyed orchestra today, though there was a bit that took some working out on the new hymn for the school assembly. She was pleased to find the two brand new reeds that she was in a spot of bother for losing and not even realising she'd lost. She does like that she gets to trot off on a Friday afternoon for orchestra! 

She came out of school with a black eye today. Her friend had charged into her and Katie didn't fair that well from it. It's nothing major but it was bruised and sore. I suspect it will look much better by morning. 

She's worked hard at her music today. She did a long stint at the piano this morning. She's enjoying that she can let go of her exam work and has a mountain of new, exciting stuff to explore. We are going to have some fun with new material the next few weeks. After school as the baby ate tea she did some clarinet. Again, she's got a lot of new work. B has made sure Katie doesnt get bored or run out in the coming weeks! We looked up the flight on a flight tracker so Katie could see how far away is India and where a plane flies over to get there. She sent B a byebye video featuring her and the new weird pig!
