Color in the wild

We are having beautiful, summer-like weather here today, and it was a wonderful day to be out at my favorite park.  I found these lovely blossoms in one of the special gardens there, and thought I would take a stab at flower photography.  Don't know what these are, perhaps wildflowers, but I liked their attitude and color.
