Great little blipmeet at Cockatoo Island today, organised by Sheepdog Trish. Lots to see and we only scratched the surface - another day, with any luck.
The hourly 15 minutes of mist was a very popular attraction and irresistible to shutterbugs.
Trisharooni reckoned this Staff Pick of hers was 'a lucky shot' (or some such rubbish).
It's not so easy to get that lucky, let me tell you... the mist is constantly thickening and thinning without notice, people move in and out of it, complete bastards walk into the foreground of a perfect shot and you lose the moment, the sun keeps going in and out and changing the light, the camera jams because it doesn't know what to focus on...
I took hundreds. This may not be the best of them, but it's very late and I've already dozed off at the computer twice, so...
