Pier at Kawhia

The main and only pier at Kawhia.

Kawhia is a little coastal village on the west coast of the North Island of New Zealand. 

One of Kawhia's claims to fame is the hot water spring on Ocean Beach. At low tide, you can dig a bath hole on the beach, and geothermally heated water will bubble up through the black sand
