AUTUMN GLORY

I think this is new territory for blippers ? It shows my avenue of rhododendrons & maples which run down to the pines (on the neighbours ) in the background, takes a left turn & then runs behind the cottage, which you can see, & adjoins my front garden. The rowan tree in the middle of the bottom picture is where I stood for yesterday's photo, panning my camera to the right, over the lake towards the mountains. The views from here are stunning.

Every year I leave my lilies to seed, collect it, & then scatter handfuls up & down between these shrubs. That is what I have been doing today.

This is my favourite part of the garden. No telephone, no interruptions.........just me & bird song. A better tonic value than pills or vitamins !
