Summer days
A beautiful sunny day today and Mr F had promised to take me out for a picnic. So after packing our treats and picnic blanket of we ventured, not far but we were pleased to find a quiet spot all to ourselves which was lovely. After a relaxed lunch I had a lie down cloud watching as Mr F went on a wander with his camera. We then both packed up our things and went for a stroll. I took some pictures of an urn as I liked the faces on the side. We then went on and saw a mummy moorhen out with her two tiny baby fuzzballs. There was a bit of commotion in the water as all the fish suddenly darted away and mummy moorhen was making a warning call. Mr F then spotted a pike in the water but he soon disappeared and luckily baby fuzzballs were safe and sound.
Back home now and Mr F is making pasta sauce from our home grown garlic, smells delicious. He won't be putting any of my homegrown 'basil' in though, as we are pretty sure that it is actually a weed that I have been carefully nuturing over these last few months! Nevermind.
