The milky way
This is my first night shot taken at the Blackheath Blippers sleepover at Isbi's place. I got up at 4am and trudged up the hill to meet isbi, Beckett and gemax. I have a new camera and don't know the settings to be honest and trying to work it out in the dark was difficult. Gemax came to my rescue and assisted as he knows a lot more than me and together we got the manual settings sorted. It was cold. There was not a frost however the thermometer said it was minus degrees.
We were supposed to see hundreds of shooting stars. I saw one. When we put the photos on the iPad we saw some we hadn't seen ourselves but disappointing we weren't able to see more. I did learn heaps and had fun. The shots with my shooting stars are pretty ordinary as I moved the tripod and will try to upload as extra but so far that isn't working. I think isbi may put one up so you can see what it looked like.
