Lobgesang

Afternoon rehearsal for Mendelssohn's Lobgesang is breaking up.   Just the performance tonight then.     With an orchestra of 50, the organ, and a chorus of 40 or so, it produces a great sound.   The chorus (where I'm singing) has had three rehearsals, the text is all in German, and in some places the music is challenging.    Next challenge - dinner jacket.

We are doing very well - the Musical Director keeps telling the chorus.  ( I wonder if the orchestra is getting a little tired of hearing that?)  lol
