Invasive

The theme this week for my concept photography group is invasive. At first I thought the topic is way too abstract, I'll never find a photo for that. But then the chopped down tree next to our building occurred to me. Very invasive. This is all that is left of our tree.

Are the newly planted greens an attempt at reconciliation? And why not plant a new tree? I might be over-reacting, but I am not reconciled.
