New out of the egg.

Every morning for the past week I have been to see the pen sitting on her nest hoping to see some babies. This morning she was restless, and her wings were spread out more so I guessed there was something going on under them. I stood poised with my camera for at least twenty minutes before she made the first move and I saw a glimpse of a baby. A little while later she came up a little higher and this is what I saw - so new out of the egg! Not technically a good photo but I had to share it with you.
