Today was going to be a nice quite day with mum in law and the search for her weekly fish & chips. Alas the restaurant we went too only do f&c on a Friday !!!!
So no joy there and then we took her back to her flat there was a fire engine outside,someone stuck in the lift. Nice lady firefighters and lady commander got the poor old dear out but lift now out of action till lift engineer turned up. Mum in law in wheelchair and lives on 2nd floor so after engineer turns up and no sign of it getting fixed we decided to walk her up to 2nd floor. As she is very bad on her legs it took a while with chairs on all landings too get her up.
Got there eventually and made her tea and hot water bottle, she'll be sleeping by the time we got home. Aw bless the rest of the day's our own !!!!!!!
