Scarborough Sea Fret
A morning of catching up on jobs. Followed by a trip to the coast. Richard wanted to do some shopping in Scarborough so we took Jet along and he and I looked for a beach for a walk. Not so easy at this time of year with the dog restrictions in place.
The temperatures on the coast were much cooler than those we left in Pickering and I could see the fret hanging over the coast. Very glad I packed my spare fleece! Scarborough was still fairly busy but quieter as we passed the Spa to rendezvous with Richard at Holbeck Ravine. Despite being offered the opportunity for some sea air he was somewhat reluctant to leave the warmth of the car. Well that and nervously awaiting the result of the Middlesbrough and Brighton match. Think he was mightily relieved that they have gained promotion.
Hope this view of the St Nicholas cafe goes someway to reflect the conditions. Notice how well wrapped up everyone is - I had left home in a short sleeved t-shirt! Perhaps we will stick inland tomorrow.
